China Anxious About Afghanistan After 2014

Mehmet Ali writes from Kabul: China’s recent comments about the future of Afghanistan reveal concern about what will happen after the withdrawal of the Coalition forces in 2014.
Until now, Beijing has traditionally left security there to Pakistan but the continued deterioration of law and order has forced a rethink.
